What it is
About the accreditation
ISO 14001 is the international standard for an Environmental Management System (EMS). It helps organisations identify, manage and reduce the environmental impact of their activities while meeting their legal and other obligations.
The standard promotes lifecycle thinking — considering environmental impact from sourcing through use to end-of-life — alongside measurable objectives and continual improvement. Independent certification confirms an organisation is actively managing its environmental responsibilities rather than treating them as an afterthought.
