About the accreditation
ISO 9001 is the international standard for a Quality Management System (QMS). It sets out the requirements an organisation must meet to consistently deliver products and services that satisfy customers and applicable regulations.
The standard is built on a set of quality management principles — a strong customer focus, engaged leadership, a process-based approach, evidence-based decision making and a commitment to continual improvement. Certification is not self-declared: an accredited, independent certification body audits the organisation against the standard and re-audits it on a recurring cycle to keep the certificate valid.
